Vincent Bethell began a continuous naked protest on the 13.8.00 in London.

He will remain naked until non-sexual public nakedness is legalised.He is now being held in HM Prison Brixton until 26.9.00 when a crown court date will set. He is being charged with 'public nuisance'. The result of which should be decided by a jury instead of a magistrate which has been the situation in every past, received, charges for public nakedness. On the 26th August Vincent wrote from his cell
"I am in segregation and I am locked up in my cell 24 hours a day, not allowed showers, visits, exercise or library access. Segregation is also known as solitary confinement. When I leave my cell to go to court I am forced to be covered with a blanket against my will...at court they are not allowed to use force to cover me thus I remain naked."
